Lazy Sunday Cupcakes

I had planned my Sunday to be quite lazy, had a stack of DVDs to work through and not much else planned, but sadly after watching 1 DVD boredom set in......

Soooooooooooooooo I headed to the kitchen and this is my latest Culinary Delight

Lamington Cupcakes!!!

Added this pic in cause the flowers are just gorgeous!!

The cupcakes turned out quite well and they tasted even better (even managed to make the icing from scratch!!)

Fathers Day Baking

Well my second attempt at baking in a week has been quite successful!! I decided to bake Dad some biscuits for Fathers Day and surprisingly enough they turned out quite well.

Culinary Delights

Well I had a few hours to spare this afternoon and I heard the kitchen calling me.  As most of my friends know, my culinary skills are very minimal so when I do finally decide to cook, it can sometimes have surprising results!!

Tonight's Menu:

Pumpkin soup

 Chocolate cake with chocolate icing, to be served with double cream

I have decided that I am going to try a new recipe once a week so I will keep you all posted with my ever growing repertoire of conquered recipes

A Public Thank You

Whilst on my train journey home today after a LONG day at expo, I had time to reflect on my life and realised I have some pretty amazing people in my life:

- My boyfriend James, who loves me no matter what!
- My AMAZING 5 besties; Chenoa, Poonam; Bec and Sian who I love spending time with and always make me feel amazing (if if I don't feel it)
- My awesome FCL training buds; Kelly, Kelly, Leilani, Hannah, Brooke, Renee and Ash - I love being able to catch up with you and having a good ol' chat
- My FCL team mates, ex team mates and friends I have made since I started working for FCL! You are always so supportive and put up with me when I'm stressed out, or having a random moment of craziness.

Old friends and new, I am truly grateful for having each and everyone of you in my life and I guess I don't say it enough but I love you all loads and loads. My life is truly better with you in it!!!
